this sketch has been re-written for the Deaf audience from four yorkshire men, I am learning to become an intepreter and doing a uni project on translating/interpreting humour to and from BSL, this sketch will not be as humourous to hearing people as for the subject they all try to outdo eachother by who's had the worse upbringing and as we the hearing audience use other minority's as the underdog. hearing oke about those who oppress them. I see exactly why it is appealing .both are funny!

I know this is a "take off" on Monty Python and I'm not going to comment on that, other than it doesn't seem all that funny. HOWEVER...I am utterly fascinated by their signing. Lovely, , graceful, eloquent - even if one doesn't know what they are saying, one understands that this is 4 men arguing (gently) about something! Really very poetic & it gives one more understanding into the world of the deaf; that we, the hearing, are cut off from them, just as much as they are from us; to our loss!
